HCR 89 (2020) Report on Recommendations for Revised Jail Standards, Oversight, and Programming (Oct./Nov. 2023) is an extensive report by the Prison and Jail Innovation Lab at Univ. of Texas-Austin recommending specific mandatory standards for Louisiana prisons and jails based on over 18 months of intensive research and comparative review of 12 sets of correctional standards.
